Prior to this posting, my '83 SD lacked power. I followed directions on this forum to purge injectors and it made a huge difference! Now, though, it has begun to idle rough. It this a reult of the purge and is there a quick fix?

Also, the tach works, then it doesn't---sometimes not at all. Today it was functioning fine, then stopped. Any ideas?

Lastly, as I'm getting ready to sell this beautiful, yellow '83 with 255K and in great shape in and out, and the trans seems to hesitate from 2nd to 3rd... but does get there a second later. Am I looking at a major problem and/or how can I remedy this---without spending a huge amount of money.
