How about those Warriors?!?
Hey, I'm liking this. Grandma Millie's revenge. You know, the old grannies that the Enron guys boasted about ripping off.
Well the liberal f*** from the Bay Area done knocked off one Texas team who dreamt of taking the title and, if all goes well, they'll have the chance to knock off two more. I'm not nearly the NBA fan I once was but these guys are a kick. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/ian_thomsen/05/04/warriors/index.html

I love an upset and was cheering for them all the way.
It's nice to see young hungry teams go after it. The Mavs and Heat have to be the first finalists from the previous year to ge eliminated in the first round . Go Warriors and Bulls!

They're reminding me of the Detroit team that won it a few years back. No one superstar but good chemistry and a lot of hustle.
Davis was actually the #3 pick overall in his rookie year but injuries have held him back. I'm just hoping he can stay healthy for a while. He seems like a good all around dude.

You are right, injuries and a bit of an attitude have held him back from superstardom, but he does have a lot of talent.
For a small guy, he takes it to the hole strong and is fearless. Go Warriors!

Here’s some thoughts from a long time Mavs fan and past season ticket holder:
DJ and I have always had respect for Don Nelson. We like Avery Johnson as well. But Mark Cuban - we’ve been around him a few times (games, parties, Dallas social events...) and never liked him at all. The crap that Cuban was spouting about Nelson was BS destine to come back and bite the jerk in the ass. We’re glad to see it did. Sorry, we’re no “super fans” here. Support a team - Yes. Backing that sort of BS - No. Not to mention - Watching the games here, it was easily apparent that GS was the better overall team by far. They seemed to us to simply out play the Mavs across the board. Watching from behind the tables, the speed difference was phenomenal. GS ran around them like pesky little nats. Almost humorous at times. Not sure how they’ll do against the Spurs should they meet. I’ve always loved my home town (SA) team. DJ is now backing the Warriors all the way. For now - me too. If they play the Spurs, I’ll probably be happy either way. My bottom line - Whatever shuts Cubans mouth (lest he’s opening it for more crow), and so long as the Lakers are out of it, I’m happy.

Oh man, Cuban is a hard guy to like. Could be his karma coming to bite him in the butt -- end of story.
Cuz the Dallas team is pretty good. There were times I was convinced that no way could the Warriors play with these guys. If Nowitzki was more versatile, might have been a different story. You just can't count on the long jumper working every game. But Stackhouse, Terry, and Harris, man, those guys are good. I don't think it's right the way the Dallas press is coming down so hard on Dirk. He's only human and any team that pins its star on one guy is going to see that guy get double teamed all night long. I was thinking of maybe going to see a game but then I saw the prices: $250 and up. Maybe . . . . not sure. I'll enjoy it on TV just fine. **EDIT** Speaking of Nellie, the guy's coming across like the wise old man of the game. Really has a good rapport with his guys. When Davis jumped in the guy's face in the third quarter after getting knocked down while getting his shot blocked by uhhh . . (Doshier? was that his name? -- completely clean block, Davis was out of line on that one) he went to the sidelines and Nellie handled it perfectly.
