Brussel sprouts, even in inanimate form, are scary enough to begin with!

I hated them as a child but like them now, even better with alittle bacon tossed in and sweet and sour vinagarette dressing...served warm sprinkled with alittle blue cheese. mouth is watering will return shortly.

Well, Jiminy Christmas, throw bacon, vinaigrette and blue cheese on ANYTHING and I'll eat it

I like them when they're small, maybe quarter sized, with a shot of cider vinegar, black pepper and salt. But once they get bigger, I'll have to try the bacon, vinaigrette and bleu cheese trick!

One of the nicer things about working for a newspaper is the top notch group of photogs we have here. (and they are generally a crazy bunch to boot!)Yeah, they have to spend a ton of time doing mug shots and high school basketball in poorly lit Gyms, but sometimes they get to do some really great work. Over the past 27+ years, I have seen some fantastic work and some scary stuff. They get so much emotion in their pictures. Some of the best pictures were just simple kids playing and laughing without a care in the world. Most horrible was from a shooter's private collection. He happened to be practically feet from the spot when a jumper landed. (nobody knew he was jumping) Devastation to the body was incredible. Thank heavens it was black and white.
