Trans removal questions (with pics)
Allright, how do I remove this??? It's on my 95 escort...
This is the only thing left before I can unbolt and drop the trans... How do I seperate the CV from the differencial? This joint needs to be seperated... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/NathanEbert/cv2trans.jpg Also, how am I supposed to put it back together when I'm done with the trans swap? A pic of how awesomely hot I am (not).... More a pic of my messy ****ing garage with a pissed off me in it. Minor NSFW http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/NathanEbert/nevergonnastop.jpg New (to me) trans http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/NathanEbert/rawr.jpg I was prying on it with a tire iron, and that didnt get me anywhere... So I wedged two large screwdrivers in there, and started driving them up the side... no luck, chipped part of the diff housing (lucky for me I'm swapping the trans) I then used that same tire iron, only I hit it sideways with my BFH (1.5"x1.5"x3" homemadelead head hammer) I then smashed my finger, and decided to go to bed... I had my sister take a few pics. Any help would be appreciated, I know I've gotta be doing something wrong, but I dunno what it is. Thanks alot ~Nate
