In some neighborhoods, they might have to make their announcements over the loudspeakers in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic.

Just fancy that.

Wow if that ever happend in this country I'd make a sport out of shooting those camra's at night. Get a paint ball gun just out of range and splat camra out of commision.

I can't beleive people over their put up with that kind of big brother crap.

I knew someone who did that to a traffic camera in Munich, after he ran a red light ... I dunno if he did that more than once

Yep.

Of course in many major cities in the States, we'd have to make the "announcements" in English AND Mexican... OOPS... I mean Spanish.

No, I meant the camera..."Goldstar", is/was a brand of camera..a cheap p.o.s. now-a-days, but it used to be a good brand, in like the 70's, early 80's.

Might have been before your time..

they couldn't do that in America, not very cost effective, you'd have to hire a barage of translators to say "put your trash in the can." Then there'd be some joker wanting to sue because they didn't like the tone used by the translator who told them to "put the trash in the can." This could turn into a comedy routine....
