No, but it does happen when a certain SOMEone seizes the happy spot.

Suddenly, and somehow, at work...!? They quit hireing fat chicks and started hiring young nubiles. And Matt's about to be single again!

1. My husband is a nice guy.

2. I got a 96 on my developmental psych midterm.

3. My kid sent me an email and he is working hard at the program he got accepted to. Yay! I'm proud of him.

4. A tiny box showed up today from the Mercedes Classic Center with a brand new glove box latch in it. There isn't a 108 in any junkyard in Atlanta that has one that isn't broken as well. Maybe I should have ordered a few of them?

5. Friends are coming for the weekend!

And if you scratch my cat on her back she bites her arm. Is that her happy spot?

Ann

I had my alternator replaced and now I can drive my 240D again. And strangely enough in Phoenix this week the temperatures have dropped into the 90's! so I'm not glued to the vinyl seats.

Indie called...repaired window motor...300E is back on-line when I pick up today...

..drove CLK with the top down yesterday...breeze kept things from getting too scorchy...fun car!

...drove new ML350 to work today...just marvelling at the gee-whiz stuff that I haven't experiened until now! Haven't gotten anything new since the 99 ML320 back in late 98!

Still painting the media room, but the gear is fully operational...enjoyed DVDs with daughter last night...explosions and other theatrical dynamics caused wife to storm in the room and gripe about volume levels and such...that's a good thing, since it means the equipment rocks!

Pest control guy took care of some annoying ant problems...discovered ant base station in some mulch bags just outside the affected area.

Daughter is enrolled in a cool soccer camp and basketball camp...bass guitar lessons start and go through the summer...busy and happy is what she likes...has a Six Flags season pass for when she's not busy!

Doctor visit yesterday showed my issues related to infection and not cancer...meds will clear stuff up!

Crazy work environment settling down...more time to surf forum!

Thanks for the thread! I'm primarily a "glass is half empty" kind of guy, so taking the time to look at the sunny side of things is therapeutic!

Went for a walk at lunchtime. Wow! What a nice day. Weather like this (in N. VA) makes you just feel glad to be alive. Well, I was glad to be alive before the walk, but you get the idea.
