Summer Vacation What Are You Doing?
 

What are you all planning for a summer vacation? I just got back from the beach in North Carolina with my boyfriend. I studied and got the spiders out of my head.

Road trip in the motorhome. Drop my daughter off at a canoe camp in the BWCA. Over to Superior for some sea kayaking in the Apostle Islands. Down the west shore of Huron and north shore of Erie to spend a few weeks visiting family in the Finger Lakes region. All this after a 5 day raft trip down the San Juan river.

Chattanooga next week (short)
Atlanta end of month (short)
Minneapolis in August (long)

Good idea. My daughter is actually catching a bus to camp from the REI store in Bloomington. How far away are you from there?

3 weeks
 

Paris for 4 days, then to le Creusot via TGV on the way to St Leger sur Dheune to barge for 10 days, then back through Paris on the way to an overnight in Bruges, then 3-4 days in Amsterdam.

Chesapeake Bay, Virginia side near the mouth of the Piankatank Rivah. Every year since 1972;)

Going on a 5 day vacation next week. Laissez les bon temps rouler.

Meeting up with some of the crazies who frequent this place. :) Won't reveal unless they agree.

Fueling up an HU-16. Packing two families in it. And heading to Kenya on Saturday.

Should be a blast with five kids:eek:this time!

Airstrip one way - Lodge, t'other. How hard can that be?

Are you going to visit Malindi or Mombassa?

Vacation???? I have many, many projects and currently looking at three 300D's to purchase. Otherwise I hide in the summer as anything over 66F is hot to me.

Driving to Orlando on the 25th :D 500 miles of clear highway at 3am :)

Summer Vacation.....


Lotsa Camping.... (Involves taking the G-Wagen out to a desolation widerness campsite, through a mud puddle (gasp), digging a hole to use the pottey, and just spending time with dad!

Cottage, cottage, cottage and boating. Can't wait! :D
