What are you doing for the Fourth?

What are your plans for the Fourth of July this year?

I'll be spending the day with my SO, maybe row around in the Potomac some, go to a cookout, sit by the pool, and then see the fireworks on the Mall (from a much-less crowded vantage point).

I've got a ton of great fireworks in my basement, but it's so dry around here, I'd be afraid to set them off.

You know I'm joking around, I hope.

I'm hoping that the only fireworks I experience will be the one's in downtown Washington! I prefer it when they are at a good distance from where I am.

Tonight,
I'll be here:
http://www.harpoonhenrys.net/
...making merry and enjoying the fireworks at the Cape May terminal of the DRBA just down the road. Nice sunny day here in NJ. Should be a dynamite sunset tonight.

Tomorrow, I'll be beach'n it here.

The weather is supposed to be nice so we'll probably load up the boat and take a leisurely cruise up to Hartford and see if they have any concerts going on next to the river. A picnic lunch and a nap later we'll head home and cookout on the grille and light off a few semi-legal fireworks. The kids still don't enjoy the big stuff as much as I do. We're probably going to take the boat up to Riverfest this Saturday for the Mohegan Sun Casino fireworks so we'll probably just hang around the house tomorrow evening.

I've got to go to Cleveland on business next mid-week so we'll get a bunch of family stuff in to placate the Mrs.
