Exotic pets

Just wondering if anyone has anything other than the norm i.e. cats & dogs.
This is my scorpion, Skeletor:

And here's a gratuitous picture of my dog, Kumi.

Now let's see yours!

I used to have a collection of reptiles, snakes (a python, some rat snakes, etc.), and lizards (a large gecko and a couple of others whose pedigree escapes me now). They've been gone for about twenty years now. I haven't missed them a lot. They weren't very animated pets except when feeding time rolled around.

In our old office building, we had a cockroach in the server room called Freddy. Every now and then we would walk in and see him dart out.

I don't have any, but my brother has a good collection. It's in flux as he buys and sells them also.

He's a well known and highly respected breeder of Arizona Mountain Kingsnakes, which are extremely nice looking snakes. He also has some rather large Honduran milksnakes, as well as Sonoran Kingsnakes and California Kingsnakes. Some of them look a lot like the venemous Coral snakes, but the sucession of colored bands makes the difference, is how you can tell.
(Venemous snakes are not the same thing as poisonous snakes).

Collectors sometimes trade and sell their pets. They are shipped by Greyhound bus, and yes....sometimes.......SNAKES ON A PLANE!!!!

He has a website:

http://www.kingsnake.com/pyros/

Once he got an albino Kingsnake, which was really neat to see.

They eat mice. He used to buy them at Pet
stores, but once he got a pregnant one. That gave him the idea to raise his own, as needed, and breed them. That operation sustained itself, sort of like the legendary "Cat Farm" and "Rat Ranch"

Just for fun, he bred some with a black circle around one eye, a la the Miller Light Beer advert dog from the '70's ("Spuds MacKenzie")

I will confess though, it's not very conducive to meeting chicks.

Your basic wine, roses and snakes.....

He is very good with animals, and has babysat friends' pets, such as turtles, cockatiels, parrots, horned toads, iguanas, bearded dragons, and once, even a Buffalo - yes, a pet Buffalo.

He despises cats.

I had a 1967 Mercury Cougar, does that count?

It finally had to be put down after too many neighborhood kids teased it with nasty remarks about taillights that flashed sequentially.

You actually had '67 Cougar taillights that still flashed sequentially!
That's an accomplishment!

I saw one of those dogs yesterday and wondered what it was too.

The originals had a VERY primitive computer. Nowadays it is an inexpensive, ultra reliable bolt in plug and play, made aftermarket.

It is a perfect fit,and very popular, and drops right into the 1968 Mustang GT/CS so that it fits as though it was designed to to it. Sometime, take a look at the sequential tail lights in a '68 Mustang and the '65 Thunderbird and try and tell the difference. Probably you can't.

Hint: they are identical, but check the chrome trim around them.....

www.californiaspecial.com for all you need to know on where to find them and how to install.

Thanks. She's the ultimate chick magnet!
We don't actually know what she is, when we got her we were told Akita, but there are certain things about her that aren't right. We've also considered possibly part Chow, or maybe she's a Malamute? Who knows...
