That's not the first time that I've heard that Korean cars give poor fuel mileage for their size. I have to surmise that their engines/electronics/fuel management systems are not as sophisticated as their Japanese counterparts.

You bring up a good point with the jeeps, i really do like how the inline six cherokees drive.(reguar, not grand, for some reason the grand feels slow without the v-8) I'm just not sure that they are quite "refined" enough for me, the durango just seems to have a nicer interior and ride. Perhaps i will run into a cherokee limited, with leather and more power options it may be nice enough for my taste....
