I knew someone would pick up on that! The little clip that holds it is broke as well as another one. Will be fixed soon.

Speaking of which, has your 308 been mechanically problematic in terms of ownership?
Compared to my Mercedes, yes. New clutch, oil pump, cooling system and other things. This car DOES NOT like hot weather. It`s going in for new hoses and a minor oil leak. It is a rush to drive though.

Its cool.

We had a 328, and well..... I understand.... We needed a switch. Took the parts supplier more than a month to locate the switch, as it seemed that nobody stocks parts for these cars.

That's awesome, it's clearly not the fastest car on the road but as long as it provides the experience (when everything runs) and apparenty in cool weather (note to self) that's what counts!

It will be out on display with my other cars during the upcoming GTG. I know it`s not a Mercedes, but it is part of the family. I`ll try and get some good pics along with the rest of the herd.

He also had a 944 turbo. From Tennessee. Can't remember his handle either.

Yep. He was a retired engineer, iirc.
