We just didnt want some guy using a set of well worn drift race tires... seeing as they only last one day of use and the cords are showing already..

I do S600 brake stands at every stop sign, new skins once a month.

Heck, I once had some really nice goodyear truck tires that were totally out of round but had great tread.

I put them out with a note saying they were out of round but would be good for driving around town.

......gone the next day.

The small tire patching stores around here do a brisk business on second hand tires. Not only are the tires used down to the wear bars but they are kept outside exposed to rain/snow/shine 24/7.

Thats what makes me nervous. I know my car is in good shape with good rubber and can stop on a dime. But the guy ridding my bumper may have $10 a pop use tires, etc, etc. So you stop fast and bam your car is totaled.

I really wish they would have inspections in this country like they do in Europe or Japan. Get some of the junk off the road.
