Refilling a floor jack?

Hi guys,
I have one of those all aluminum Snap-On floor jacks and I have no clue how to refill the hydraulic fluid. At least, that's what I think it needs, I've never seen it drip. The problem is that the pump handle has to go all the way to the floor to get the slightest movement. Kinda like a poorly bled brake system. I see a bolt on top that seems to be the fill area but last time I tried doing it I lost more fluid then I put in. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Adam

I don't know if it will answer your question, but you might try taking a look at this page at Hyjacks.com.

find the little filler plug, remove, fill with hydraulic jack oil. Replace plug...

Enjoy.

Thanks Tom,
If only it were that simple.... Lots of unmarked orafaces with no manuals. Besides I think my problem is air in the system, not a fluid problem.

I doubt it. I bet it is low.

How would air get in it?
