I agree about not leaving children unattended, it blows me away that they did this. Branson can do whatever he chooses to with his money.

The whole story's a bit weird. I have a hard time believing that if they'd killed her, they'd go to such lengths to keep the investigation alive.

But leaving a child that young alone in one's home is bad enough -- in a hotel room in a foreign country is just whack.

That's exactly what 'that money' will be doing by keeping this case in the news. People with nothing better to do (i.e. most news networks) will talk about it endlessly and others like you will start threads on message boards.

I can't think of a way 'that money' could be spent any better to further the cause of pointing out how stupid this pair were.

IMO they should be in clink already,,,, leaving a small child alone like that would be enough to get you locked up in most countries I would think,,, what's the Portugese word for Negligence?
