Somebody said 'think progress' is too much of a biased web source.

There is no doubt that a whole bunch of those 'Senators' are beating the drums for a military expansion into Iran. Joe Lieberman is without a doubt a front runner.

It says that our Indiana Republican senator, Lugar voted against it, while our Democratic senator, Bayh, voted for it.

I would have hoped that both would have voted against that one, if it says what they say it said.

The President, whether Bush or his successor, doesn't need Congress' approval to create a military action in Iran anyway. Regardless, I would think that ignoring Iran as an issue or setting Iran up as a US political issue (like Iraq) would be more dangerous.

Most people didn't think a bunch of sheetheads in Afghanistan were much of a threat to us 6 years ago.
