Thanks, though I can tell you that I felt somewhat uneasy, mostly because I didn't want this woman to think I had any hidden motives.

Even though its probably not real, it was freaken funny! The scary part is as I was reading it a few girls I know/knew came to mind! People that dumb to exist!

Our office is sponsering a family that is having one heck of a time. They should be getting their oil tank filled next week. We are going to donate a fair amount of food, and clothing to them as well. You should always help out those that need it. However I still reserve the right to type stupid crap online when I am bored.

Since JD broached the subject a bit, could I hi-jack this thread (just a tiny bit) and remind everyone that Thanksgiving is in a few weeks. I had intended, last year, to spend my time helping out at the local community GTG and invest my time and what little talent I had and help out with the Thanksgiving Community Event. For reasons I won't go into here, I wasn't able to partake...

But, this year, I'm signed, primed and ready to roll for the community...

Let's all see if the better of us can help those in our community who need the help more than we can imagine...

Just like David R. Smith did...

Very funny,,,, though I'd guess it's from the UK as there is mention of Delia Smith who (as far as I know) has a cooking show in the UK only.

I caught that too. And using the word "sick" instead of saying "vomited" is more of a UK thing.

Yeah, jeeze! Chill and get a sense of humour.
I supported 3 kids and a wife on a single income of a whole $6 to $8/hr back in the 80's. Had to sell my van to pay for my second kid, who we had at home with a mid-wife(no insurance). We were on the recieving end of alot of Thanksgiving and Christmas "care packages".

Yes, I know about being POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's sad that nowadays one even considers such things, but actions speak much louder than words do. Your mentioning it will make me more aware of such things the next time I encounter a situation like that, so I thank you.

I'm sure therre are at least one or two others here who will remember what you did and perhaps act with a little more compassion than we would have otherwise.
