Funny that this just came up. I just bought "Rising '44, (the Battle for Warsaw)" by Norman Davies, (2003) 750pp book in Berkeley last week, and it is proving to be illuminating and astonishing, shocking and sorrowful, by turns.

Few people know about these events of this tragedy.
