Cooking the goose I got yesterday hunting south of Jennings. Nearby was a field (on a different lease, damn it!) with an estimated 5,000 birds, mostly specks. I probably could have bagged my limit with a Red Rider BB repeating carbine with a compass in the stock if I could have been on that other lease.

Jes heading south a bit, and break bread with another set of relatives that I've never had T-day with before. Should be fun. That part of the family are a hoot:D

You sutherners do it unique:D I miss corn bread stuffing. Haven't had it since I was in Louisiana 30 years ago.
