Christmas that is (assuming of course that you celebrate it

). I love being with family, seeing the kids faces when opening presents, the merriment and the cheer. But I have to say that I'm relieved that we survived Christmas!
We did a little more travelling than usual this year in that we went to my wife's grandmother's house on Christmas Eve to meet up with her family for dinner (for the 1st time in 16 years-it's only about an hour away), then onto my grandmother's to meet up with my mother's side of the family. Christmas day was at my house for dinner with my parents, uncle, sister and her BF and my FIL, then to my brother's for dessert and exchanging with his family.
It was a whirlwind. While there is a tinge of me that is sad it's over, it's mostly relief!
I just stopped by the house to drop off a coffee for the wife (and pick up a shot or two of heat for mine) and it looks like a toy bomb went off. Thank the man upstairs for work today!
