I like Virginia's tack on Primary voting much better than Maryland's. Here you only get to vote in the primary for which you registered. Independents can go pound sand.

I find the "closed primary" system insulting personally.

The insinuation is that I'm cheating the other party.

BS...what it does do though, is that it TEMPTS ME to go over to their side, pick the looser candidate and then wait for the real election...

I can't remember when it happened in Wisconsin, but I remember the stink a few folks made when the Dems. shut down the primaries based on "...someone might do this or that..." reasoning.

So...when they (Dems) say they are "...for the children/little guy..." - I smile knowing that all they want is more piglets to suck that hind tit on the sow so that they (the turds floating at the top of the party) can hang onto their power.

Because, if they did give a rat's @55 about anything, other than themselves, taxes would be lower, more folks would be employed in the private (not public) sector of the economy, and most inner-city folks could sleep at night without worring about a stray bullet finding one of their loved ones.

But, hey, it's Bush's fault that all is wrong with the world...get a Demo-dumbo in the WH and all the bad guys (Hey cmac2012! That's the OTHER GUYS!

) will roll and kiss the blessed-one's @55 and apologize for giving us the finger and calling us bad names and whatever else they did when we weren't looking...

We'll forgive them...no questions asked.

I'm voting for someone that will kick their @55, then come back and kick some local @55...

This country needs a good, old fashioned ass-whooping by our own...the pussies are afraid it's about to happen...Obama and Ms. "I'm-In-It-For-Me" aren't about to lift a boot against anyone outside the US...they'll keep blaming the Reps as all good lil' demmys do....foot-solders to the end.

I'm getting tired of listening to all this "He said/He-She-It said" pablum that's on the air-waves and being repeated ad-nauseum...
