Mbusa.com used to have a comprehensive old model overview. It had everything I've ever wanted to know. They still have their 16 year model overview, but it sucks now. It has practically no information. I just bought my girlfriend a 92 300CE and I wanted to compare it to my 92 400E. But the website has practically no information. I found bits and pieces elsewhere. But not much. Particularly the Turning radius. Which is what I was mostly after. Anyone know where there's a comprehensive list of specs and performance on 80's and 90's models?

Found it in the garage the other day, thought I lost it years ago.

The 400E isn't in it. But the 300E is

Steering, lock to lock: 300E: 3.0 turns 300CE: 3.1 turns

Turning circle, ft/m 300E: 37.0/12.3 300CE: 36.1/11.0***

The 400E wouldn't be in that one. It wasn't introduced until model year '92. The CE does feel like it out-turns the E by just a small amount. The additional travel from lock to lock would seem to support that. But I don't know if the 91 300E and 92 400E have the same radii. It may not have been possible due to the larger engine under the hood of the 400. Anybody found a comprehensive website yet? I'm looking at adding an SL500 to my fleet and I don't know NEARLY enough about them to buy one.
