I have read enough to now be confused. Easy to do.
There's nothing explaining the future for this technology as far as consumer products are concerned.
Wal-Mart has said it is going to drop all HD-DVD stock soon and only stock Blu-Ray.

Toshiba is abandoning HD and also iHD or, as it is now called HDi ( What was that anyway ?)

I know there are those of you up to speed on this and perhaps you would let me and others know what we
need to do to not buy equipment that is going to be redundant soon.

So, does this affect anything about the 2009 date of 'off the air' HD TV?
What else do we/should we know?

Feel free to correct anything I have said that may be wrong.
