good stuff man, I dig it. I've always enjoyed a little dueling solo action too.

I want the funk, gotta have the funk. Nice website too.

That's some great rockin'! Kind of a Molly Hatchet/Doobie Bros./Allman Bros./Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies type of sound... Wouldn't mind seeing them live. (and oh yeah, has a little BTO sound as well )

That's a cool link. Very good live performance. Do you just like this band or is it yours?

Molly Hatchet is the only band that as a kid I bought their albums solely based on the cover art. I ended up liking the music too.

That vid is one of many from Beanstock, a music festival I used to produce at my ranch. I think that was from fall of '05.

Jay Johnson is a very talented singer/songwriter. The band no longer exist Although, I believe Jay and Mark Lafon, the bada$$ guitar player, still appear together around north Texas.

BTW, In that video the audio was taken from the FOH feed. Drums are a bit loud in the mix due to them spilling into the vocal mics. An issue I always had to deal with aggressive drummers on the small stage.

Coolest part of the three days was the campfire sessions that sometimes lasted all night.

C'mon Kartek.....haven't you also shared a penchant for the Backstreet Boys?

I don't know if I've ever resonated with every track on an album before.....not even with Cake, Beck or Radiohead (my favorites).

Led Zep IV or the Beatles White Album come pretty close.....but those are pretty cliche.

That's cool, I like local festivals like that. My buddy here used to do something called "Goatstock" every year at his farm.

Jordan, I just like that ONE song... jeezzzzz...

Hosting such an event must be TONS of work. How many people have you had in attendance?

My dad used to have a hogroast with live music every year at his place. We'd have 250-300 people and it would end up lasting all weekend. Parking and port-a-potties were the biggest headache. Actually, keeping angry drunks out of trouble was the BIGGEST headache.

The coolest thing about these parties, was everyone parked their Harleys in rows in the front yard. It looked like a well stocked dealership.

Jordan and Evan, I am a fan of U2 and there are a few earlier albums that I like every song. Achtung Baby is probably the best IMHO. Usually albums by any artist I've listened to only have at most 2-3 songs I'd add to my iPod.

Aww, I'm just joshin, like the Tree. I forget what sappy skeleton I shared in my closet....but I have them too.

That's a good one Chad - So Cruel is a great tune and Throwing your Arms Around the World too......both great songs that didn't get much play on the radio.

Thanks for sharing that Whiskeydan.......next time I'm passing thru Bean Town, I'll check the ranch out.

That's some nice funkrock there. The 2 telecasters give it a fierce pitch.
