If an underpriviledged college hopeful chooses to fall back on being a certain race to obtain a scholarship, so be it.

But considering the availability of scholarships (many that go unused due to lack of general knowledge of their existence), any person with adequate academic credentials can apply for a scholarship that uses criteria other than race to reward the individual.
