New Article C63 vs M3 Sedan
Good write-up:
"The C63 is one of a new breed of AMG cars, much closer to the spirit of the CLK63 AMG Black Series than its forebears, and if this trend signals a change in corporate philosophy, we welcome it." http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=125350?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..1.*

The single objection that I can muster against the C63 is that they (AMG Mercedes) de-tuned it so that it would not embarass the peformance specification of their higher priced AMG 6.3L V-8 cars.

Quote:
Did you see the Top Gear episode with the C63, M3 and the Audi? Clarkson called the C63 an 'axe murderer with headlights'. Biggest issue with the C63 was keeping it on the track. Not sure if more power would be a good thing, maybe AMG did it on purpose? I'm betting the C-chassis is lighter than say the S63... I'd love to take any of them for a spin!

Much more HP would render it useless on the track. The Braubus SL600 comes to mind...
