Bought a Lexus....

Uggghhh.... My parents called me to tell me they bought a Lexus LX570 today....

Black on Grey, fully loaded... 70k out the door....

So, we broke the mold, and got a Lexus....

That's a lot of money to drop new.

$60K out the door after initial depreciation. Might be a nice vehicle to buy after 3 years and 60% depreciation.

LX570? Is that a SUV with the Toyota 5.7L?

ONLY $70k? for a 13mpg SUV? Should have bought a CDI for depreciation purposes.

I can think of at least 2 dozen vehicles I'd rather spend $70K on than a truck with a nice interior.

I'm certainly not going to tell someone else how to spend their money, but to my mind that is crazy.

Although, my dad is awaiting on a response from the dealer about his offer on a 2004 SL65.

I am sure you could turn a LX570 into a nice mall cruiser with sliders, lift kit and a nice set of ARB bumpers.

They are alright if you are middle aged and balding. I like the GX470's.

If you're middle-age and balding, you really need one of these:

^ It WAS a Ferrari Testarossa.

So, at what age bracket must one be in order to seriously consider a BUICK?

(btw, I still have hair...)
