Someone hit my car.

Damn.

Someone backed into my car, and put a nice dent into the fender.

This is gonna cost alot of money to fix... I can already feel it.

Hit and run. Damnit.

I talked to my dad, and he said to take it to a Paintless Dent Repair Shop.

He had something similar fixed on his SL600, and it came out damn near perfect, so he said to go that route before more durastic measures...

Damnit, still cannot believe someone would hit me and not leave a damn note.

yah that really sucks but like you said the paintless process is probably the way to go. Get some pics up so we can see the extent of the damages.

About a month ago, some handicapped idiot parked next to me let her shopping cart freewheel into my W124 on a windy day! Pretty nice-sized dent left after that!

Paintless guy would have gotten the panel perfect except the dent resides near a structural beam. So there is a "wiggle" left over from the original dent...but better than nothing.

Hope yours comes out great!

Oh I am really sorry about that. I know exactly you you feel.

I agree with paintless dent removal if possible. Your paint wa perfectg and original. I think, that if you get into repaint and such, all kinds of issues like paint matching, glasurit no longer available, prior fading of the unpainted parts, makes the job very hard.

The paint can only be the original ONCE. Keep it that way as long as possible

As for a Sacramento group meet, I am all for that.

If you need an excuse, here is one: Diametrical thinks he can tow murdoc's barely running newly acquired '84 300D (seen below,
here in Berkeleylast weekend the day he bought it

http://www.flickr.com/photos/20573891@N05/2415379476/

up to Sacramento for a engine install party. Nik has an engine hoist, and othershave the knowledge and tools.

Barabara said she will lay on the food and drinks, if you guys can find a place.
Seems like Justin's HOA and Garrett's landlord don't like the idea of doing this at THEIR respective houses, so a PLACE needs to be found. Unfortunately my HOA is similarly strict and *****y, otherwise, you guys could use mine.

I am down. Give me a date... I can see if I can swap another motor at my house, but I doubt it will fly.

I have an appointment for the dent removal for this afternoon.... Hopefully shes whole again.

Justin

We need to find a PLACE first, and then vote on a date, that works for all of us and Diametrical needs to be sure he can find a proper trailer, and that the Cummins can tow the car up from Berkele, before we commit.

But yes, here is the reason for the next meet. I am sure murdoc wants to get going as soon as possible with it.

Sounds like a plan to me

Good luck with the Paintless today. Sounds like the best bet to me.

I know it will not tow a W123 as well, but I have a G500 that can tow it.
