As long as you make your payments, what's the diff? You have a contract (which I do know something about) that's not changed other than having been assigned to someone else.
True, your contract is still in force, but they can still jerk you around with the escrow. Try to stay local/CU if their fees and rates are acceptable.

Spending money on a refi for the sake of nothing is stupid, your mortgage and escrow agreements are signed the day you close your loan...if you make you payments nothing changes.

Don't be stupid because of internet complaints which you will find regarding every company, nobody writes love stories.
