I reached for the clicker when I heard the good Reverend mocking JFK's dialect.

Time for Obama to change tactics?
Quote:
WHAT???!!! He is throwing fuel on the fires of racial hatred. I have to wonder. He is singlehandedly driving Obama's campaign into the ditch, the Rightwing NJ's are rubbing their hands with glee as they stand by and watch the slow motion trainwreck. Wright is doing their dirty work for them. Does he not know that? Both he and Al Sharpton may just as well publicly come out in praise of Mc Cain for President. For a country obsessed with American Idol, Brittney Spears, Lindsey and Miley Cyrus or whover that latest one is, and the Media that panders to it, this spectacle is manna fron Heaven. For Obama it is a disaster, and he better move quick to put it behind him, otherwise it will get played endlessly, to his great detriment. If Obama can't contain this, there is a pretty good chance that he will get tossed on the dustheap of history, very soon.... I think Obama should find a way to call out Jeremy Wright, and Al Sharpton unequivocally as horrible lifetime black racists and totally disavow them and their views for all time. Otherwise it will be "game over" for him. Has he not remembered that Jesse Jackson's so-called "Rainbow Coalition" of 1984 was basically all BLACK? Quote:

If not delivered with a keenly honed sense of Berkeley irony, it is the gross understatement of the year, artfully pronounced. |
Well, it was a bit harsh to be sure, but a lot of blacks have experienced black on black crime and hating. I think Obama spoke to the issue about as well as could be today.

Obama: Ok, here's the plan: I've spoken to the powers-that-be at NAACP and you will be their keynote speaker this year. Simply show up, act outrageous, and I will trip over myself disowning you. This should appease those poor white ignorant democrats still clinging to Clinton and plump up my popular vote and delegate count. After we knock her off and trounce McCain in November, we're in business. Rev. Wright: Excellent! I'm looking forward to becoming a member of your Presidential cabinet! Obama: Oh, umm, well, it's likely that some residual static about you will remain in place after January. How about a nice juicy Ambassadorship to Haiti? Rev. Wright: F-You whitey. click |

Don't you think that if Obama did not agree with Wright he would have done that alot sooner? He's just adressing it now because the media is finally questioning his positions and he can't have that. Anybody can see that Obama must agree with Wrights positions, but the only reason Obama is finally NOT defending Wrights comments is because he's no longer looking like a media darling so it looks like he needs to do some fast talking, backpeddling, and sidesteppin, in his best mimicked Clintonesque fashion. Obama has studied the Clintons for far too long as he operates exactly as they do by using their tactics he learned from them. It does not matter if Obama or Clinton gets elected, they will not differ much at all in their socialist agendas as they are much the same threat of personal liberty to the American people as they both will push for their Marxist type programs and drive as many wedges into the classes that they can in order to make more people reliant on the government. I'm just glad that Obama's views are being brought to the spotlight because no matter how much he backpeddles, hes already locked in his position on race. If he was a standup guy or against Wright, he would have denounced that bigoted jackazz a long time ago. |

I'm postulating (you read it here first) that Obama will turn this to his advantage in a manner similar to Clinton VS Sistah Soljah.

That was a good one. Irony and humor delivered deadpan is always the best. |
Well, it only took Yo Bomma 20 years to figure out what the Rev. LeeRoy was about.
Wonder how long it will take him to figure what Bernardine Dohrn and William Ayers are all about? And how 'bout that Dr. Quentin "Venceremos" Young?? Wonder who else was at those meetings?? |
