I've already been through all of that and emerged on the other side. I'm begining to cut loose . . . I didn't have much of a childhood, so I'm making up for that deficiency now. Better late than never!

Oh thats great fun. My dad does it all the time when driving the dump truck. I hate the people who drive in the break down lanes, so I make a habit of taking up half the lane if I am on the right. Pisses them off!

Between checking posts on here , I am preparing for a lengthy pretrial conference scheduled for tomorrow involving a guy ('Nam vet F4 pilot) who got hit from behind while riding a motorcycle in the RH turn lane, by some jackass in a hooptie with 24"s on it that was driving to get to the RH turn lane via the breakdown lane. The guy didn't even turn his stereo down until the cops arrived.

Why should I use a turn signal?

It's none of their damn business where I'm going.

I use the same phenomenom to get them to hurry up and pass. Nobody will ever slow down to make room for you in an adjacent lane, so I just flick on the signal and the same a-hole will speed up everytime, leaving me a nice wide slot to slip in.

Reduced use must be due to the high price of blinker fluid these days.

On an unrelated note, why does it seem that many Honda Civics sound like they have faulty or worn muffler bearings these days?

Here is my pet peeve... or maybe a couple of them.

Peeve #1 -- the idiot who puts on his right blinker and breaks left. Is he trying to keep us on our toes or does he want to get hit so he can sue you?

Peeve #2 -- putting on your signal is ASKING PERMISSION to merge into the lane. It is NOT a statement as in I am coming over NOW!!! get out of my way everybody! I see this especially in Maryland. you are on a crowded highway (270) and some moron blinks twice and then zoom! If you don't let him in he will hit you!

Peeve #3 -- You are in the middle lane and need to get off. You put on your right blinker. Naturally the a-hole in the right lane speeds up to where he is just off yout right rear door. You slow down. So does he. You speed up. So does he. As you pass your exit he laughs, waves and speeds off. This has happened to me twice in Md!

Peeve #4 -- A-hole who hugs the bumper of an emergency vehicle with it's lights and siren on. As everyone moves over to let the cop/firetruck/ambulance past, some jerk is right behind taking advantage of the gap. Must be a lawyer -- whaddya think?

No turn signal sucks...just slightly more than the guy on the highway that leaves it on for 10 miles: "Are you coming over, or not?!"

You see, that's a prime example of how another's input can be helpful! There's the glass is half-full to my half-empty. That will be my new approach.

Refer to nubmer 2 to answer number 3! I put my blinker on and if someone does that I still merge over, they move.

I was too cheap and I bought the car with the blinker delete option.

We have turn signals?

I ran out of blinker fluid and muffler bearings.
