I listened to it on the radio this year. The radio coverage sucks compared to when I was a kid. So many commercails you really don't learn much about the race except the leaders. Then I just watched it on tv so I could see it too.

Danica got ran into by Brisco of the Penske team. Brisco's comments were shameful. He said she had plenty of room. BS! He got his car sideways and banged his rear wheel into her after she moved over to give him room and would have cleared if he had just kept his car straight.

Marco Andretti dove under Tony Kanaan forcing him to take to the marbles and lose it. Poor move. Tony was leading the race and clearly upset with Marco but was pretty classy about it. After all Marco is the team owner's son! I admire the Andrettis but they are pretty brash, expecting folks to give them special consideration when they make impossible pass moves. Mike was probably the classiest of them in that respect.

Vitor Meira must be the best driver never to win Indy. I noticed him several years ago. His moves on restarts are astonishing and electrifying! His move to take the lead on that restart was unanswerable and was so precise if he had made it six inches differently in any direction he would have hit another car! He then lost the lead to Dixon in the pits and with it the race. The cars are so evenly matched that unless your car is a lot faster you simply cannot pass unless a mistake is made by the car in front.

That said, Dixon had the fastest car and as far as I could see really made no mistakes all day so I suppose he deserved to win.

Dang though, I would have loved to see Meira win in that little underfunded one car team! If Meira spoke english better he probably would have a top ride. He can really drive!

I read that Danica took off her gloves and wanted to have "words" with Brisco. Apparently a few people thought that stopping her, would be better than to see her *****-slap him a few times.
