Yes but please STFU about that. We are trying to paint them as bad people and anything that you bring up in a positive light is hurting the effort.

I wash it really clean and use scented soap so she won't have to. All cheese has been washed off daily.

If you wash it off daily and there's cheese there the next day, you need to see a doctor

If public opinion is enough to make Obama flip-flop on his church, what's he going to flip-flop on next?

He's just not presidential material... sorry!

Think about it... If you don't stand for something, you stand for NOTHING!

OTOH, we have Bush that will stand for what he stands for even if others are against it. With that, we have complains. Kinda of a no win situation. Who knows? Maybe the church is not that important to him.

What about McCain? I don't trust him because he forgave the Vietnamese for what they did to him too easily. Not sure I can trust a forgiving person.

I agree with you that he isn't presidential material. However, I don't think he's flip-flopped on this one. He's made the decision that he can't accept Wright's comments and the manner in which Wright has dealt with them so he quit the church he had a 20 year relationship with, including many pivotal events in his life. That sounds like being a leader to me - making a decision that is personally difficult with the bigger picture in mind.

Who says McCain forgave the Vietcong soldiers (not ordinary citizens) that made him a prisoner. I'm sure that as a soldier himself he would have killed them DEAD, if he would have been given the chance.

Obama would have tried to TALK to them and reason with them...

No... I think it sounds like swaying to PUBLIC OPINION!

He's been listening to Wright for 20 years and should have already formed the opinion that this guy is B.S. Obama's just NOW deciding that maybe this guys a radical? C'mon now????....

Question "Swiftboating"

I have no idea what my shipmates remember of my service 30 years ago (oh dear!), but I am not trying to run for the presidency, so I don't give a *****.

What folks who use "Swiftboat" as a verb do not like is that the stories were effectively packaged and presented to undermine Kerry's claim to honor for his service.

I'll bet if Kerry had not discarded his medals in protest before he displayed them as a campaign tool, if Kerry hadn't, "reported for duty", and if Kerry hadn't "voted for before he voted against", he could have survived the carefully orchestrated and released revelations about his carefully filmed experiences in Viet Nam.
^^^ SFW?

"Munich" is, and still means, a city in Germany even after that man got off an airplane with a piece of paper in his hand

Perfectly reasoned. Flawlessly executed. Amazingly inconsequential.
