Good luck. Maybe dress Humphrey Ann in some Victoria Secret garb...that might help lure him back.

Tom,

I would put the female in a cage on the ground with a have-a-heart trap right next to it loaded with some of their normal food and something from his usual cage.

Wouldn't that be the equivalent of a shotgun wedding? "Next time that boy comes sniffin' 'round hee-ya, Imma git him!"

Right on with the WWII movies! Don't forget to plug in Clint Eastwood (NOT Bronco Billy!) and John Wayne.

This is the only place where a conversation about rabbits takes on a whole new context. Beatrix Potter is rolling in her grave.

Bunny sighting!

My neighbor came knocking on my door this evening and said she had seen my wayward bunny!

Naturally when I got out there he had skedaddled into the briar patch.

I put more water and food out for him. He seems to have taken his water and half the apple I put out for him, but with all the fresh greens to munch on he has forsaken the dry food!

I don't blame him!

I watched Master and Commander

again tonight.

About the fourth time.

Last night I tried to watch "Broken" although the young lady was really fine looking I turned it off when she and her bf started shooting up crack. Then I tried to watch "Nanking" and it was just a little too dry.

So tonight I went for a proven man movie!

This morning my neighbor knocked on the door and said she had spotted my wayward buck bunny, P.J.'s. My lovely Mrs. (she's back and all is fine) and I went out and proceeded to try to collar the wayward big eared furball, but he was very lively and bounced away from us casually eating whatever was in front of him as he went. My not very agile old man body had a hard time putting much fear of capture in him.

After ten minutes I decided to go get a blanket and my lovely #4 daughter out of bed to assist.

Armed with my stinky garage blanket and my accompace in bunnydom we went back and in a few minutes collared my wayward bunny.

Taking no chances I kept him wrapped up til I got him back in his cage. He was panting almost as much as I was as I put him in but in a few minutes he was munching on the apple I offered him as if nothing had happened.

Just to be safe I think I will curtail his deck wandering privelages for the forseeable future.

The Victoria Secret angle with Humphry Ann was not necessary.

Thats good to hear Tom! I've been waiting for this update, losing a pet sucks.

Edit: you may need to keep a special eye on him from now on since he's had a taste of freedom...once a stray....always a stray.

Glad PJ is back under wraps but I can't help but feel he needed a last taste at freedom since Humprey Ann is now with bunnies.
