Havent seen it in two days because of fires 60 miles away.

The air is so bad that the Chinese govt. is asking people to drive more because the air filters in their cars actually clean the air.

I know the feeling: the largest wildfire in the country is burning right now about 200 mi. south of my house in VA, and the smoke on the water in the Chesapeake Bay looks like fog and is a hindrance to navigation. Two weeks ago, I actually saw what I thought was fog at about a mile and when we got into it it was hard to breathe. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/06/080613-wildfire-peat.html

Some of that smoke drifted across Delaware Bay on Saturday and fouled our clean ocean air. Please keep on the western shore of the Chesapeake, if you please!
Two weeks ago it was smoke up here from NC wildfires!

SW or WSW winds will do it, as well as pump up muggy air!

I would refuse to participate with such poor quality air, for fear of lung damage.

There better be MASSIVE air purifiers in the stadium...

Thats why you see that European official just following the Chinese government line.

It would be a major slap in the face to the Chinese if they stopped the games.
