After spending the last year using up stimulus money PU is reducing the flock in Project Managment and construction. Myself and a couple of other old goats are being put to pasture. October 14 will be my last day.

The last year has been very stressful so in that way it will be a relief.

I am exploring other employment opportunities but am planning to go back to Architectural practice probably mainly as a consultant. There is nothing that compares to being self employed. The trick is to survive in a recession/depression if you are in my area of endeavour.

My son has been managing my building for the last three years and moved to Florida two months ago so I will need to spend some time doing that.

And I think I will get my real estate license and try that out.

I am excited to pursue the new course.
