It hard being Asian. You study hard and get rewarded by being rejected. Before you couldn't get in because of AA. These days you can't get in because of thinly veiled discrimination. Half the applicants with perfect SAT scores get rejected by Ivy League schools. Go figure. The college admissions process needs to be more objective. At least let people know how they "scored" against other applicants.

If any of this is indicative of success later in life, if he pulls down major coin, he won't have ANY problem getting "lipstick on the dipstick"!

A lot of colleges do that. Nowadays, it's the overall package that impresses, not just stellar academic performance.

I must have gotten admitted on my stunning looks...academically, I was only top quartile...

I have known two people who scored a perfect 1600 at the time on the SAT. One was a hot white girl I went to High School with. Her father was a nuclear physicist. She got a full ride to Carnegie Mellon and is now a professor at Rensalier, Pitt or somewhere up there. The other was a guy I went to college with, whose parents were from Pakistan. He and his father later got nailed in an arms dealing sting in Greenville, SC, and have been in Federal prison since about '97. He used to drink cough syrup to get ****ed up in college, because he claimed he liked the taste.
