Gifts Everyone can Use

What are some gifts you can give anyone and no matter who they are they can probably use them. The only thing I can think of other than money is headphones. What are your suggestions?

My first thought exactly.

Man, that's a lot tougher than I thought. Only thing I can think of might be a gift card to the local market or the like, which is essentially cash.

Flashlights and pocketknifes. I've given them out as Christmas gifts to my nieces and female friends. Nothing huge, mini Maglites and pocket Buck knifes. Two quality gifts together for under $30 bucks. Oh the strange looks I've gotten. But undoubtedly by the end of the week they have served the purpose more that once. It's amazing how many uses they both provide.

You had to ask? Full of course. A nice little Bombay Sapphire Gin Martini with a splash of Curacao for color. I feel a liquor thread coming on...
