My wife is getting around better with walker.Still can't go down my deck steps,as I have no hand rails.
Making a pain pill list today to track pain meds,as she forgets taking them.First phys therapy today.

pill list...good idea. I often had trouble remembering. I started at one point writing on the calendar.

Today I swam. The pool was nicely warm. My knee was surprisingly stiff at first but after ten minutes it loosened up nicely. Got in about 25 minutes. I'll try to build back up to at least 45. I might move it to an hour in an effort to become more streamlined.

day 8 knee swelling is worse,think e.r.?

Or just go to the doc. Sounds like possible infection. (Ouch, sorry!)

looked at serveral knees online,my wife's looks better.She tried to cook,and may have turned wrong.

See about it of course but common. Usually get a steroid shot in the knee to reduce the swelling. Best to contact the guy that did the work.

Porn channel? I was just sitting here thinking where would I look for a variety of woman's knees if I felt the need to. Sorry it is just what popped up first in an old degenerates mind.

haha no I typed knee photos after knee replacement. We will get hold of Doc today after PT.If I was her Doc,I'd numb the area,and draw off some fluid.

Have watched a few people push their recovery. Kind of normal for a person to do. Some of them had swelling develop many times. Plus it is substantial swelling . A shot of cortisone was done on at least one I know and it worked very well.


. When the nice lady next door was describing her chest problems to me. She was obviously quite concerned. I mentioned that I was not a doctor. Although I could still have a look if she wanted me to. Helping neighbors in need is the least a guy can do..

her Doc said it was fine,they are starting her on a cane.I guess you have good days with pain,and bad days.

on day 8 of PT she hurt her knee,been mostly in bed since.Doing exercises in bed,but she suffers at night,can't sleep. Pain is as bad as day 1. Her doc is a ass,alot of them have a God atittude.

Yes many doctors have poor patient relationships. Part of the problem may be he never sat your wife down and explained all the common recovery events that almost always normally occur.


It is human nature to want the knee back to normal as soon as possible. So too many really push it quicker and harder than they should. Mentally there is a desire to actually push it to the threshold of discomfort. Overshooting by accident on occasion.


If you are also hitting it on things because of over confidence. Wear some form of temporary protection while up and around for awhile.

Yeah she pushed to hard,she is going to take it easy at pt,today She has another terrible problem to I.C. its a inflamed bladder,which they say the pain is worse than child birth. Cannot find any medical people in this area to help her.Lots of treatments in England but the u.S. drags behind.
