btw, technically, yes, it is a classic, but give me a late sixties coupe (w108?w109) with the pillarless roof anytime. isn't this just really a glorified w116 with two doors and a big blind spot?

Not sure about the coupe, but my experience has been that the W123 has the best visibility through the windows of any vehicle that I've driven. The large windshield, wide rear view mirror, and large rear window provide for great visibility. Many of these new cars have these rear windows that are just horrid to me. When the side mirrors are adjusted to the correct position, I have absolutely NO blind spots.
