Where do you get your articles?

Thanks for asking.

My homepage is: http://news.google.com/news?promo=houseads
I regularly read BBC News: http://news.bbc.co.uk/
less regularly I read Al Jazeera: http://english.aljazeera.net/ and the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/pages/index.html?partner=rssnyt which I started reading online back in the late 1990's, IIRC.
I subscribe to a local newspaper that comes to my driveway at 5:30AM. I read it all except sports & classifieds.
That's it for news.

Several years ago Kerry Edwards posted a link which is one of my favorites:
http://www.aldaily.com/ which I use because it is so wide-ranging.

I have a snail mail subscription to the Wilson Quarterly ( http://www.wilsoncenter.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=wq.welcome ), and to National Geographic ( http://www.nationalgeographic.com/ ). I read the WQ cover-to-cover every issue and sometimes buy books from it's book review section. I confess to reading few Nat Geogr articles, but have loved the pictures and captions since I was a boy.

That's about it for regular and semi-regular general reading.

I also subscribe to several prof journals and have been struggling to read and understand bayesian probability and apply it to my work, biogeography.

My book-reading comes mostly from conversations. I have read more than a few good books suggested by people who subscribe to O.D.

My habits are such that I read about an hour each night. I started that as a high school senior and continued through the USN, into business, and into university and grad school. I'm not a slave to habit and there are usually a couple of nights a week or even a couple of weeks in the year when I don't read.

Having said all of that, I haven't kept-up with the bees. CMAC's your man with that one.

I think a guy named Bert has all the bees. I see that he's making a lot of products from them. I hope he's not abusing them.

People brought tons of food to our house last week after Mom died. I said to somebody that one whole village of chickens had sacrificed their lives so that we could overeat.

I'm not sure I'd like that chicken village's medical care plan either.

In his defense, it was either sex or politics so it was a 50/50 chance.
