Summers over...

And it flew by fast...

Meeting the cool Texans, smoking a cigar and drinking scotch to honor those Mid-Atlantic folks who I call family, road tripping over 5,000 miles, flying to various places in the US, working on networks, hanging out with local peeps on this board, saying hello to old friends, and making new ones, destroying a laptop, and getting less than 6 hours of sleep per night made this a summer to remember...

I would like to say thanks to all of you who have made this summer cool and fun....

(You people know who you are...)

And if H-Guy reads this, I now owe you a case of beer, and Captain Morgan Private Stock...

And as tonight is the final night of summer, I am going to enjoy some Scotch and a Cigar while watching the sun set for the final night of summer.

God, I never even got my boats in the water this year, never got in the pool, have been working 7 days a week. The only way I know summer's over is that the kids are back in school and traffic is worse in the morning. Lucky me!

Appreciate the props for the Mid-Atlantic peeps. BTW, after spending way to many summers in South Mississippi, we have come to look forward to the change of seasons in DC. Beaches are nice, but Africa Hot sucks.

Are you basing tonight being the final night of summer on school schedules or something else?

– March 20 begins Spring Equinox

– June 20 begins Summer Solstice

– September 22 begins Autumn Equinox

– December 21 begins Winter Solstice

There is another month left of the Summer Season.

... and 5 days into autumn is another celebration on the east coast.

I have one more week left, and I am milking it. Lots of booze cruises.

So when are you coming to the east coast and having a drink, or several with me? This fall for the GTG?

I'll provide a handle of K1!

I am basing it on when I move back to school.... Tomorrow is the move, and I have been frantically packing for the better part of the day.

We picked up the C220 thats now in my sig. Drove down to Los Gatos yesterday, money in hand, looked over it, and drove it back. Rebuilt engine, and AC, with records. Mechanically in perfect shape, cosmetically is in fair shape.

Ernie checked it out today, and gave it a clean bill of health, with no issues. Looks like a really well maintained California car.

Thank God - I'm sick of 95+degree heats. Can't take a black on black convertible out in that kind of weather.

First comes football; then comes hunting season; then comes the cold fronts. Halelujiah!

The weather has been amazing up here, next comes ice, snow, sand and salt, so all the nice cars get tucked away.

when i saw your thread first thing that popped in my head was "tuesday's gone..."

I'm almost glad summer is gone, it means im done at work and i can sleep in because i dont have class till noon. It also means no more nice paychecks.

You're way too bummed dude, lighten up! For those of us that live in the west, you in California, me in Arizona, there is still at least another month of summer left. Get busy...
