I am really glad to see that kind of news ... finally somebody showed brains, balls and guts.

Is that the beginning of a new era, when they start to say "No" to the Cabalists?

I sure hope so.

No thanks,

Extortion of the middle class ... is that so? ;)

Seriously, it has not been hammered in as much as it should, nor in such stark language. It is presented essentially a "Wall Street" problem.

I've read that Warren Buffet supports the "bail out". Keep in mind that if all goes well the government (taxpayers) can make money from this. More importantly another great depression can be avoided. Japan did something like this 6 years ago and it was successful. Of course, it may also not go well and either way we'd see more currency devaluation and debt, at least in the short term.

It is true in a sense. Every economic system has collapsed in some form at some time. Our system isn't immune to it, particularly with the way it's been manipulated as of late. A few of my sister's colleagues are saying that 2009 to 2014 will resemble the years after the crash of 1929. Looks like everything is in play to make that happen... <burying cash in the yard>

On one hand it is a mythical Chinese proverb, cursing the one it is wished upon "May you live in exciting times"

On the other hand, this really an opportunity, because it will be "We the People" who is going to save this great country from a complete downfall.

I honestly wonder. And they had Germans invading their country to drive the point home. Then again, we have Russians in Venezuela.... :)

I don't think you can compare "American Integrity" with "Japanese Discipline".

And this crash would have occurred anyway, but the "financial marketeers" wanted to recover their losses first. I can at least appreciate their audacity.... :)

Correct. I see all of this as a blessing in disguise -- an opportunity for the "We the People" effort should have occurred on 9/11, but got derailed, to be resuscitated.

Also true, as did the Swedes. And I trust Warren Buffet's judgement.

Whatever Warren Buffet wants has got to be a good idea. Right?

How about this, ol' Warren and about 1,000 of his bestest buddies get together and put up their own focking money instead of indebting me further to protect his assets.

A lot of things got severly derailed in the past 8 years, thanks to ...

It's time to put the brakes on and get real. It may not be the most comfortable ride, but it will get us to where we need to be.
