I have been following Elena's site for years. These pictures are really good too. Would not expect too much change there after only the short time so far. That place is going to be poison for a LONG time.

that is so cool, I had no idea that the game was taking place there. It looks just like the game. I would love to go see that, it looks so interesting.

I think her government tried to discredit her for awhile. Could not find anything on snopes about her. Pictures she had sure were real.

In the video game Call of Duty 4 there is a scene where you are a sniper taking a bad guy in @ Chernobyl.

Got it,,, 56 people killed directly, with the probability of 4000 more from collateral damage. Yikes.

Now consider the area that was involved and start putting zeros behind the number. I doubt we will ever be able to guesstimate the true number of deaths from the event.

I guess fairly well, there is a good NG documentary about it wildlife is prevalent especially pigs and dogs. I'm not a Bot but plants do well in radiation don't they?

Animals can move away. Plants cannot.

Plants have very little living tissue compared to body mass. Animal tissue is mostly living.

Mistakes (mutations) in mitosis and meiosis in plants is less often lethal as compared to animals.

That's about all I remember.
