Incredibly basic CAD needed - Free preferred

I need to make a drawing of a wall for the project I discussed earlier, I mentioned it to a friend....who is a perfectionist,,,who happens to own a company that builds walls...who wants a drawing I guess he's going to have his guys put it together for me...or something.

He wants a drawing and I have to give it to him.

Try this Howie. If the link doesn't work, just register with bogus info. It's PowerShape, a freeware 3D cad program (not pirated).

What dimensions do you need? What are the specs on the wall? I can have my room mate draw it for you or another friend on here do it...

Wow! Thanks guys!! The wall needs to be divided into three panels and I will be constructing it with steel studs, 2x4 size and covering it with drywall not sure of the thickness..whatever is available in my friends warehouse dent and ding department. The wall is to cover an opening for the winter, I need it light so I can easily put in up and take it down.

Beers on me!!!!

FYI - 1/2" Gyp bd weighs 2lbs per sq. ft.

Each 4' x 8' panel will have 64sq ft of gyp bd area.

With metal stud frame fig each panel being about 150lbs.
