Heck depending on where in Lakeland I'm a stones throw away. (Winter Haven/Eagle Lake) Close to Bartow airport. Drop me a PM.
There's an indi in Winter Haven near the intersection of 17/92 by Gilbert Field (Winter Haven airport).

I do my own basic maintenance.

I agree with Peter Hedary as a mechanic. He was the only mechanic who could straighten out the vacuum problems with my transmission, as well as went over my new purchase and replaced all sensors and hooked up all things to get things running the way they should. And he's very reasonable.

Does anyone know how to reach Peter these days? My car has been returned to Florida after a year in Minnesota.

Have you guys ever seen that junkyard thats about 15 miles or so south of lake placid in the west side of US 27?

I sear that's the biggest one I have ever seen. It must be about 1 mile wide and about 3/4 mile deep.

Never had to stop in, but man there's a whole mess of cars in there.

Good luck with the impending move, chilcutt. Hope everything works out for you.

Looks like TheDon and eagle are going to have some more competition in the yards.

which one is that, I've never hears of it. I do know of a fairly large classic car bone yard in kissimme(by the tourist trap, old town). But you cant go in and pull parts.
