1983 300d start up problems

hey, i recently bought a 1983 300d. It has some vaccum leaks and cosmetic damage, but it ran fine. I changed the oil, oil filters, and fuel filters and it seemed to be idling a bit rough so i got some Sea Foam fuel additive and put it in with a full tank of fresh diesel. After about 5-10 miles it started to idle even rougher. I had planned on replacing the injector nozzles on it anyway so i went ahead and did that. I followed instructions from dieselgiant.com and from the place i ordered them from. After install the car would not start. It would turn over and try, but it would not start. If i give it constant throttle it will run but it will die immediatelly after releasing the pedal. It also spits out an enourmous amount of white smoke. I thought it was the fuel screen being clogged but i drained the tank and pulled the hose right at the filter and then poured some diesel back into the tank and it drained fine. I changed the primary filter again to see if it had been clogged from putting the sea foam in but it still would not run. I dont know what to do. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. is it sucking air into the system? whats the white smoke from? PLEASE HELP! thanks
