Glad to hear it went well and that you're feeling good. I've mixed alcohol and painkillers after surgery as well. I see it as being responsible - it lets you stretch the meds out further.

I miss medmech, I think about changing my name back to that, I went with Howitizer during the great forum crash of '04 for not apparent reason. Other than to use it as an alter ego @ Menzworld.

Better check on that just in case. A buddy of mine shattered his right heel in 5 pieces last February. He has a plate & screws in his foot. His doctor gave some sort of letter or card about it....

LOL, the crash of '04 - I remember that. Many of us headed to Mworld, but most came back here. Kurt Vining stayed... lol.

I have felt in 10 years, the surgery was a total success I have a wee bit of aching but its going away, I'm on mild pain killers but could probably could get by without them and I'm at home drinking a cold brew. The real trick is keeping myself limited to the lazy boy because I feel so good.
