Back in August, Hershey's reformulated the chocolate in Whatchamacallit, Milk Duds, Mr. Goodbar, and Krackel . . . substituting cocoa butter with vegatable oil. As a result, they can no longer call it milk chocolate . . . but can use terms like “chocolate candy,” “made with chocolate” or “chocolatey.”

I like the term that's been going around "mockolate"

smoking was glamourous! The TV ads and jingles led us kids to believe cigarettes were as benign as toothpaste!

I saw the evolution of tobacco ads being banned from TV, radio, billboards, etc...and yet, they were still selling strong!

I had just started my first office job as a teen when folks could still smoke in public buildings...I can't remember what it was like back then, but I suppose you got used to it, the same way you did when you got in and drove that pre-smog-era car to and from work!

I just noticed that the formerly half gallon, then 1.75 quart, now 1.5 quart what- I- took- to- be Edy's Ice Cream is now "frozen dairy dessert". Next, "Dairy" will go missing....?

My kids and I tries a smoked bacon milk chocolate bar (Mo's Bar) but were disappointed that it was "bits" of bacon, not bigger chunks.

1979 240D with a 617 turbo diesel.

I remember my mom driving 12 miles to take us to the movies. Cost 25 cents to get in.(50 cents if we wanted to set in the elevated section with rocking chairs). We got to see two full lengh features with an intermission in between.
A cup of Coke was 10 cents and a box of popcorn was 10 cents too.

Really depressing ,in a way ,when you go into antique stores looking for that one treasure and see the same kind of toys you played with as a kid on display!!

Most American chocolate is JUNK, especially milk chocolate, Cadburys is disgusting as well, some is made in china. Dark chocolate rules and in small amounts, its quite healthy and beneficial. Try to get at least 60% cacao.
