Seeing the "word" "veggie" on menus, or hearing it used by people who should know better.

confederate flags or their representations

fake cheese

CSR's who can barely speak English

kids who give you a desultory "sorry" when you call them on their behavior.

cars with thumping sound systems you can hear from behind. Fart can mufflers too. I fantasize a quart of Karo in their gas tank late at night.

tailgaiters

1. The moron who just left the space you pull into at your coffee stop an dumped his some of his coffee on the ground right before you pulled in.

2. the lazy azzoles who leave their grocery carts right up next to their car's nose and are just too freakin lazy to put them in the cart drop off area.

So are these things that you all have complete intolerance for?

This is a joke. Believe me when I tell you that I'm laughing as I write it. Please don't take it seriously.

Wait Larry,

Howitzer's, er, MedMech's, thread was about pet peeves, which, imo, is a far cry from complete intolerance by a magnitude of, oh, 10 maybe.

just my $.02

The constant update of the weather , the presence of the "crawling news" with weather icons of the latest change ( snow , rain , wind )

oh one more

The local news reporting LIVE, the news may be from yesterday - yet the reporter is LIVE .
Come on........

ok ok - one more . The rolling truck billboard - it amazes me that someone would invest in one, a company would purchase time / space and the public tolerates one more empty truck clogging the roads ( not mention polluting the air)
thanks

Oddly enough statistics show that they attract more attention and have a much higher recall then traditional billboards.

Topping off the pump at Costco. Today, the lines were halfway long, my Beemer has the cap on the right, unlike most cars, but one of the lanes to the left of the pumps had room for one. I zip over and a guy in the adjacent lane moved in just before me. Oh well, no big. Then the guy goes through a long song and dance to pull the hose over to the driver's side of the car, fumbles with looping it under his bumper, still hasn't started the flow. Finally gets it going, then when it's done, does a sloooowwww topping off - it was obvious, I saw it pop off at full, then the guy does the slow squeeze, lets off, does the slow squeeze.

I'm trying real hard not to be the aggressive ass-hat these days, especially with older, nerdy looking guys who I could tower over if I was standing next to them - too bully-like. I was biting my tongue, just about to holler out the window, "do you know what topping off means, and why there's a sign on the pump that says NO TOPPING OFF?!?

Jeez, it's tough being a gentleperson sometimes.

OMG. One more sign that we are a culture in decline.

Twisted phone cords. If I walked into your home or office, I'd be untwisting them.

When I'm eating out with family and my food arrives at the table and my mom/sister always ask: "can I have a bite?" that irks me to no end.
