Pretty tight quarters for a sling shot or paint balls.

Might try repellent in your yard and attractants 50yds left and right in the neighbors yards.

An 8-ft deer fence is the only thing that will keep them out. They are plastic mesh and almost invisible against the background. But you have to have posts every 8 feet or so.

Maybe you can arrange with the neighbors to put up a deer fence between your houses.

You can also get a bow hunter to come and take some deer nearby if space permits it.

That's tight quarters, unless all of the neighbors have the same mindset I say get used to them. I have 900 ft. to my closest neighbor and even if the deer are shot and killed we still have deer. The only remedy is a very high fence or eliminate the food source.

A miss with a slingshot will sure take a bounce into someones window.

My biological mother has a lama farm... and she sells lama poop fertilizer. Deer do not recognize the smell and so react as if it is predator poop, and leave the plants in the area alone- generally leaving the area. It does not burn the plants either. PM me if you want her contact info.

But I think I know why they are coming here. Someone is leaving nice food for them: I kid you not. A pile of nice lettuce leaves, grated carrots, chopped up bell peppers, cored apples, italian bread, parsley, all this stuff HUMANS would leave.

I found another pile of it today and got rid of it. I had found some previously but not connected it with the deer cause I had not seen any.

Some idiot neighbor in the last stages of tertiary brain syphilis is FEEDING them, and putting the FOOD on MY property.

It must be a freaking HUMAN problem going on. Damn it. I need to keep a better look and catchem in the act...
